FAMILY MEDICINE IN THE UK
There is a high demand for General Practitioners in The United Kingdom. We have teamed up with Dedicare Healthcare Limited who are offering a fully supported and personalised transition to working as a family medicine doctor (GP) for the National Health Service in England.
Working as a GP in the UK’s National Health Service
General Practice in the UK offers a rewarding and diverse career as well as progression and professional development.
The pathway for a foreign family medicine doctor to work in the NHS is through the GP International Induction Programme (GPIIP). This offers a unique opportunity for EU-trained GPs/Family Medicine doctors to receive personal, educational and financial support.
Funding is available to assist you with language support, relocation costs and accommodation, as well as professional registration and visa costs
Our team will support you through the whole process, including help with all registration requirements, documentation, social induction, finding accommodation and arranging travel. The support continues for as long as you need it, and we can introduce you to other EU GPs working in the area.
The opportunity is for two areas in the North of England, including a unique offer for colleagues/friends to start together in the same location.
Before you register, please go through the list of requirements below:
- To have a medical degree from an EU country (or recognised by a EU country)
